Research
In this section, I hope to share my research at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Million Dollar List
In 2021, I began working with Million Dollar List, whose mission is to identify publicly announced charitable gifts of $1 million or more from individuals, corporations, and private foundations to create an accurate picture of large gifts and how they fit into the landscape of giving in general.
Through conducting research using data, I have acquired valuable knowledge on philanthropic research. I am enthusiastic about continuing my research into philanthropy and contributing towards a more informed and improved world for us to be a part of.
Generosity in a Time of War
During 2022, I was involved in a research project with the Million Dollar List, specifically collecting and analyzing data on donations exceeding 1 million dollars to Ukraine. This project held significant personal meaning for me as I have a personal connection to Ukraine. Additionally, it offered me valuable opportunities to enhance my communication skills within the realm of philanthropy. I had the pleasure of presenting my findings to a large audience at a research conference and enjoyed collaborating with my research team!
